That's the Plan...
I’ve had a very productive week so far. I’ve managed to get the opening statement, delivery requirements, and competitive analysis started in the That’sthePlanA2 assignment. A good start and I’m glad I’m getting through it. Normally on other courses it takes ages to get that starting point but I seem to have got it straight away on this assignment. I’ve found the competitive analysis of other John Peel sites quite difficult as many feature session tapes or music that Peel would have liked but not much content. Next time maybe I should pick somebody more famous!
Steve also gave us a lecture in ‘Reflective Evaluation’ which should hopefully make me write my blog much better than last week.
Also this week we had Helen Rivron come in and give us a lecture on reading more effectively. Although I didn’t find this really necessary - I did get some tips on reading more effectively.
Planning is something I found difficulty with. I find it hard to allocate time and dates for when work should be done but rather to make a ‘to do’ list. This then helps me when I decide to do work at home; I just look at my list and see what needs to be done. A much better way for me to keep myself organised.
