Doing Well...
This week I've been mostly doing my designs in PageMaker which was quite difficult to start with. This is due to the fact that I missed out on last weeks lecture on it. At first I just stared at the screen and thought how awful it was, where was all the tools? How come no matter how high resolution my graphics they still looked shocking? I wasted a good hour trying different formats and messing around until Steve stated that all images looked like this is PageMaker - how annoying! After looking at it for a bit and figuring it out, it all started to make sense though. I even started to enjoy it. After all it's pretty simple once it all clicks.
A highlight of the week though was Steve saying that my final site design was 'not shoddy at all' which is the highest compliment that you get from Steve* which is quite an honour.
My site map design also caused a stir in the weekly group critique. It was said that it may be 'too complicated' by Craig and that it needs some sort of 'user testing' according to Rob. If anyone has any comments i.e. regarding it being too complicated then please leave them.
My budget statement was near enough cock-on as well with regards to costings and estimates.
This week has gone a lot better than last week and even though having a slow start with PageMaker I have marched on and got quite a bit of work done.
* = According to Steve.

I beginning to agree with you about Pagemaker. I wasn't so sure about it last week, but it has been a perfect program for laying out text and making it look spangly.
